"Seasons of Success" Celebrates Quinnipiac Athletics' Incredible 2012-13

HAMDEN, Conn. - "Seasons of Success", a highlight feature show created and produced by Quinnipiac's School of Communication students, is now available on Quinnipiac's YouTube channel. The 22-minute feature highlights the incredible seasons of the men's ice hockey team, women's basketball and women's rugby teams, as well as the growth of Quinnipiac Athletics as it enters the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference in 2013-14. The feature also highlights Quinnipiac expansive intramural program, which features 20 sports and provides athletic opportunities on campus to over 4,000 non-varsity Quinnipiac students.

"Seasons of Success" was written, produced, directed and edited by Graduate Journalism students in the School of Communications. The students in the class consulted with the athletic department on subject matter, conducted their own interviews with coaches, student athletes, and administration, and produced the piece as a team to complete the twenty-two minute show. The Graduate Journalism students were Jessica Boykin, Tania Eicoff, Brian Kabel, Dom Lancella, Katie Markley, and Zach Russo. The students completed the entire production from concept to completion.
