Bethany Buckholz begins her first year as a graduate assistant for Quinnipiac University and primary contact for Women's Soccer, Women's Basketball, Women's Lacrosse, Acrobatics and Tumbling, and Women's Rugby. While at Quinnipiac she will be completing a Master’s degree in Public Relations.
A 2011 graduate of Westfield State University, (Westfield, MA) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications along with concentrations in Public Relations and Media Arts. She was a member of the Communications Club and Communications Honors Society, Lambda Pi Eta.
Buckholz brings her internship experience with Connecticut Public Broadcasting as the communications intern for the fundraising department. Working with member services and helping out on live television pledge promotions.
Before joining Quinnipiac University’s Athletic Staff, Buckholz had worked with the Connecticut Sun, WNBA team, where she was the Community Relations intern for the summer of 2011 and 2012. While working with the Connecticut Sun staff she would accompany the team on community appearances around Connecticut writing articles featured on the website. She also had game day responsibilities assisting the media and Sun’s staff with game notes, interviews and game books for each game.
Buckholz resides in Kensington, Connecticut and is a graduate of Mercy High School. (Middletown, Conn.)
