The Quinnipiac University Pep Band is the premiere music performing ensemble at Quinnipiac. Now in it's 13th year, the QUPB performs at most home ice hockey & basketball games. In addition to winter sports, the pep band also performs at pep rallies and selected fall & spring sports home games. During its history, the pep band has performed throughout the Northeast, including performances at Madison Square Garden, West Point, and the Times Union Center in Albany for the ECACHL semi-finals & finals.

By the fall of 2008 the pep band had outgrown its original rehearsal space, the multipurpose room in the QU athletics center, and moved to the TD BankNorth Sports Center.

All woodwind players, brass players, and percussionists are welcome to join the pep band. There are no auditions for these first time members. Bass and guitar players must audition prior to being accepted into the pep band as there are a limited number of spots available.
