Quinnipiac Sports Information Work Study Application
As a Federal Work Study (FWS) Sports Information Assistant, you'll be involved in the day-to-day operations of Quinnipiac's Sports Information Department. Currently, there are openings in the following areas of Sports Information:

Event Staff: 
The sports information assistant's primary role will be as part of the staff of the press box/press row at each home game for all of Quinnipiac's 21 varsity teams. 

The sports information assistant's role in this area will be typing rosters for game programs, filing and archiving and other duties as defined by the sports information staff.

The role of the research assistant will be involved in digging through stats to uncover any trends that will be including in game previews, post game notes and historical archives for Quinnipiac's 21 varsity teams. 

Public Address Announcer:
Have you always wanted to hear your voice over the public address system at sporting events? Do you have any previous experience that could be of value to Quinnipiac's 21 varsity teams? The public address announcer will assist in reporting to Quinnipiac's fans who is on the field as well as any other pertinent information regarding that day's events. 

New Media:
The new media student assistant will work with the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Information and the Director of Athletics in the promotion and development of the Quinnipiac Athletics brand through the various forms of new and social media, including, but not limited to, video and photo content, audio and video-streaming, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. Duties include producing and editing digital video content, website management, and overseeing social media campaigns through close association with the sports information staff. The student assistant will be involved in all video and audio streaming for Quinnipiac Athletics’ 21 varsity sports, including the staffing of all home games and maintenance of equipment.
