Sean Duffy is in his ninth year as Faculty Athletic Representative at Quinnipiac University. Duffy is responsible for ensuring academic integrity, facilitating institutional control of intercollegiate athletics and enhancing the student-athlete experience as well as respresenting the University to the NCAA.
Currently an assistant professor of political science at Quinnipiac, Duffy earned a B.A. in political science from Brown University in 1984. He received his master's degree from The Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in 1986. Duffy then earned his PhD from Yale University in 1997.
Duffy is active in the New Haven Rowing Club and also held membership on the U.S. Canoe & Kayak Team from 1989-1994.
