The Quinnipiac University baseball team heads to the Coney Island section of Brooklyn, N.Y. to take on Long Island University at KeySpan Park, home of the Brooklyn Cyclons, the minor league affiliate of the New York Mets. Quinnipiac enters the game with a Northeast Conference record of 8-16 with a 15-33 overall mark while Long Island is 9-37 overall and 5-18 in conference play. The teams will play a nine-inning game on Thursday, May 14 at 3 p.m., followed by a pair of seven-inning games on Friday, May 15 at 12 p.m. They will conclude their four-game series on Saturday, May 16 at 12 p.m.

With an 11-strikeout, five-hit shutout against Monmouth last
weekend, senior Andy Mayer (Branford, Conn.) tied Tom Signore '85
for the most wins at Quinnipiac with his 21st victory. Mayer will
start the first game on Saturday's doubleheader against Long Island
with an opportunity to break the record.
