Baseball Ranked Fourth of Six Teams In New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association Division I Poll
Connecticut (10-10-1) was tabbed first by the New England college baseball coaches, with one first-place vote. Dartmouth (9-4) was second with 27 points and four first-place votes, followed by Rhode Island (10-10) with two first place votes and 21 points. Quinnipiac and Boston College (10-11), who also received a first place vote, had 15 points while Holy Cross (10-10-1) rounded out the field with eight points.
Quinnipiac
is action this week when they face Yale at Yale Field in New Haven,
Conn. on Wednesday, April 30 at 3:30 p.m. The Bobcats are also
scheduled to host Sacred Heart for a four-game Northeast Conference
series on Friday, April 2, Saturday, April 3 and Sunday, April 4.
