The Quinnipiac University baseball team's three-games series against Richmond this weekend has been restructured due to inclement weather. The Bobcats will play a single, nine-inning game on Saturday, Mar. 9 at 1 p.m. followed a pair of nine-inning games on Sunday, Mar. 10, with the first game set for 11 a.m. and the second game to start shortly afterwards. A full preview of the weekend's match-up will be posted later in the week.
Quinnipiac is currently 3-0 following a three-game, season-opening sweep at George Washington last weekend. Sophomore Vincent Guglietti (East Haven, Conn.) was named the CollegeSportsMadness.com's Northeast Conference Player of the Week after a weekend that saw the big first baseman hit .462 after posting a 4-for-5 day in the Bobcats' first game of the year.
