The Quinnipiac University field hockey team will travel to
Loudonville, N.Y. on Sunday, Oct. 4 to take on the Siena College
Saints, in a Northeast Conference game set for 1 p.m. start.
Quinnipiac is currently 1-8 overall and 0-1 in the NEC following a
4-0 loss to Lock Haven on Friday night. Siena is 2-7 overall and
has not played a conference yet. Live stats are available for the

Siena is 2-7 overall and 0-0 in the NEC with their first
conference game of the season against the Bobcats on Sunday. The
Saints are led by Lisa Heimerle, who has tallied four goals for
nine points in nine games played. Seven different Saints have
scored goals, while five have multiple goals entering NEC play.
Andrea Caso and Kristin McGorty lead Siena with three assists
apiece. In goal, Renee Clavette has played every minute in the cage
for the Sainst, posting a .811 save percentage and a 3.10
goals-against average.

Quinnipiac has defeated Siena in 13 of the 14 meetings between the
two teams since 1999. After winning the first three meetings, Siena
won their first, and only, game against Quinnipiac in Hamden on
Oct. 15, 2000. Since then, Quinnipiac has won 10 straight.
All-time, the Bobcats have outscored the Saints, 52-9, and has
allowed just one goal in their last six meetings.

With five
saves against Lock Haven on Friday, Oct. 2, Jenna Grossman became
just the third goalkeeper in Quinnipiac history to record 400 saves
for her career. The senior goalkeeper, with 402 saves, joins
all-time leader Sarah Mathers '02 (557) and Erin McKay '05 (491) in
the 400 club.
