HAMDEN, Conn. - The Quinnipiac University field hockey team held its annual Alumni Game on Saturday, August 18 and welcomed back a host of former players to the QU Field Hockey Turf for an exhibition game versus the current Bobcats squad.
On a beautiful afternoon in Hamden, Quinnipiac's field hockey program saw 25 former players return to the turf. Featured some of the most prolific and talented players in program history, and the Alumni Game brought them back on the turf to share their stories and lessons with current players.
"I think it meant a lot to the administration, to the coaching staff, to the players and the alumni," said Head Coach Becca Main. "It's a fantastic event for the program. We love hearing all of the success stories from players after graduation and it's even better to relive past memories fulfilled with great stories."
