HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac Department of Athletics and the TD Bank Sports Center have announced the non-conference opponents for the men’s and women’s basketball and ice hockey teams for the upcoming 2012-13 season season. The Department of Athletics will also host Bobcat Madness on Oct. 12, 2012 at 7 PM as part of Quinnipiac’s Parent’s Weekend.
"Our head coaches have once-again scheduled games against teams from some of the finest institutions in the region," Director of Athletics & Recreation Jack McDonald said. "I know that our fans will enjoy coming to the TD Bank Sports Center to cheer on our Bobcats for all of our conference and non-conference games this coming season."
In addition to the Bobcats’ regular-season Northeast Conference and ECAC Hockey opponents, the Quinnipiac coaching staffs have attracted some of the region and nation’s best to the TD Bank Sports Center on the York Hill Campus of Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn. Dates for all events have not been released.
High Point Solutions Arena at the TD Bank Sports Center will host several exciting, non-conference games for the men’s and women’s ice hockey programs.

The men’s team will host:
Robert Morris University (Two-game series on Parent's Weekend)
Ohio State University (Two-game series)
University of Nebraska-Omaha(Two-game series)
American International College
University of Connecticut.
Several of the region's top teams will visit the TD Bank Sport Center’s Lender Court in 2012-13.
Women's basketball will
University of Rhode Island
The College of the Holy Cross
St. John’s University.
Men's basketball will host:
University of Vermont
University of Maine
