Former NCATA All-American Erin Trotman will begin her second season as an assistant on head coach Mary Ann Powers' staff in 2013-14. Trotman was a four-year member of the Quinnipiac Acrobatics & Tumbling team, including the inaugural squad formed in 2009.

At the 2011 NCATA Championships, Trotman turned in perfect scores in the Tumbling event, capturing individual national championships in the open heat. This past year, Trotman helped Quinnipiac to the 2013 National Championship match, where the Bobcats finished as runner-ups to Oregon. 

Trotman graduated from Quinnipiac in 2012 with a bachelors degree in criminal justice. Trotman completed her degree requirements after and internship with the Town of Hamden's Board of Education as a coordinator of Hamden Middle School's "Students Achieving Individual Levels of Success" (SAILS) program. 

A native of Bristol, Conn., Trotman was a four-year member of Bristol Eastern High School's cheerleading team as well as the USA Wildcats All-Star team, which she helped to the World Championships.
