Men's Ice Hockey Head Coach Rand Pecknold To Participate In Live Chat On On Thursday, Dec. 3 At 2 PM

HAMDEN, Conn. - Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey head coach Rand Pecknold will participate in a live chat on the New Haven Register's website,, on Thursday, Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. Bobcats fans can go to on Thursday, Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. for the live chat. Pecknold and Yale head coach Keith Allain will discuss the evolution of the hockey rivalry between ECAC Hockey's two New Haven County nationally-ranked programs. The Bobcats' head coach, now in his 16th season, has guided the Bobcats to a 12-1-0 record and a .923 winning percentage, the best in the nation, and the No. 4 ranking in the Division I Poll. In addition, Quinnipiac was ranked 6th in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Poll and 4th in the INCH Power Rankings. The Bobcats also sit in the top spot among all Division I men's ice hockey team's in the PairWise Rankings.

No. 4 Quinnipiac's game against No. 10 Yale is set for 7 p.m. at Ingalls Rink on Friday, Dec. 4. The Bobcats are 12-1-0 overall and 7-0-0 in ECAC Hockey play for first place in the league standings. Yale is currently 5-3-2 overall and 2-1-2 in ECAC Hockey play.
