ECAC Hockey Weekend
The No. 4/6 Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey team will travel to No. 10/10 Yale University on Friday, Dec. 4 and to Brown University on Saturday, Dec. 5. Quinnipiac is currently 12-1-0 overall and 7-0-0 in ECAC Hockey play while Yale carries a record of 5-3-2 overall and 2-1-2 in league action. Brown is 2-7-1 overall and 1-4-1 in ECAC Hockey play. Both games are set for a 7 p.m. puck-drop.

Bill Schweizer will have the play-by-play for both game's this weekend and will be joined alongside by color commentator Bill Schweizer.

All-Time Against Yale
Quinnipiac is 5-2-1 all-time against Yale. Last season, the Bulldogs snapped Quinnipiac's five-game winning streak against the Eli's with a 3-0 win at Ingalls Rink on Jan. 31, 2009. Quinnipiac tied Yale on Feb. 20, 2009. Quinnipiac has won three of four games at Ingalls Rink.

Scouting The Bulldogs
The Yale Bulldogs, ranked 10th in the USCHO.com and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Polls, will look to bounce back from a 1-0 loss to the University of Vermont on Monday night when it hosts the Bobcats at Ingalls Rink in New Haven, Conn. on Friday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. Broc Little leads the Bulldogs with nine goals and 13 points. Brian O'Neil also checks in with 13 points on five goals and eight assists, as well as a team-high three power-play goals. Little has scored in four straight games while O'Neill has recorded a point in six of Yale's last seven games. Andrew Miller boasts a Bulldog-best nine assists to go along with two goals for 11 points, while Sean Backman has six goals and five assists for 11. Denny Kearn ey is the only other Bulldog in double figures, totaling two goals and eight assists for 10 points. Four different Bulldog goalies have been between the pipes over Yale's first 10 games of the season. Nick Maricic and Ryan Rondeau have each appeared in four games.

All-Time Against Brown
Quinnipiac holds the advantage in the all-time series against Brown with wins in seven of the 10 meetings all-time. Quinnipiac has won five straight before a 3-2 Brown win at the TD Bank Sports Center on Feb. 21, 2009.

Scouting The Bears
Brown University is currently 2-7-1 overall and 1-4-1 in ECAC Hockey play. Freshman Chris Zaires leads the Bears in assists (6) and points (9). Jordan Pietrus has scored a team-high five goals along with three assists for eight points. Mike Clemente has logged the majority of the time in goal, appearing in nine games. Clemente is 2-5-1 on the year, with a 3.25 goals-against average with a .904 save percentage.

All-Time High
On Monday, Nov. 30, the Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey team received it's highest ranking in program history when the USCHO.com Division I Men's Ice Hockey Poll featured the Bobcats in 4th place among all NCAA Division I teams. In addition, Quinnipiac received first-place votes for the first time as the Bobcats collected seven. The USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine ranked Quinnipiac 6th, with one first-place vote.

INCH Power Rankings
Quinnipiac was ranked 4th nationally in InsideCollegeHockey.com's INCH Power Rankings, its highest ranking all-time in that poll.

PairWise Rankings
Following the Bobcats' thrilling 5-4 overtime win against then-No. 10 UMass on Saturday, Nov. 28, Quinnipiac held down the top spot in the PairWise Rankings. The PairWise Rankings are a subjective ranking system that is used to determing the NCAA Tournament field.

What do UMass and Robert Morris Have In Common?
Saturday's win against UMass marked the second time this season that five different players (Brandon Wong, Jean-Marc Beaudoin, Mike Atkinson, Eric Lampe and Zach Hansen) recorded multiple points in a game.

Heckuva Month
November, 2009 marked the first time in Quinnipiac's program history - since their inaugural 1975-76 season - that they have won eight games in a month. The second most was seven in November of 1997.

Three-Spot
Last Saturday's match-up against UMass featured 10 different Bobcats totaling a point in the win, marking just the third time this season (Robert Morris, 10/30; St. Lawrence, 11/7) that Quinnipiac has accomplished the feat.

The Nation's Best
Quinnipiac's 12-1-0 record gives the Bobcats the best winning percentage (.923) in NCAA Division I hockey.

We're Streaking!!!
Quinnipiac's eight consecutive wins gives the Bobcats the nation's longest winning streak.

First Time
Quinnipiac has won its last eight games, including all seven ECAC Hockey contests, to secure first place in the league standings after three weeks of league play.The Bobcats have never opened their ECAC Hockey schedule with seven wins in their first seven league games.

Against The Nation
Quinnipiac boasts the top scoring offense in the country with 56 goals in 13 games for a 4.31 goals per game average. The Bobcats' defense, which ranks 11th nationally, has allowed 30 goals in 13 games for a 2.131 per game average, giving them the second best scoring margin, +2.00, in the nation.

Number Crunching
Quinnipiac is one of three teams in the nation, which also includes ECAC Hockey teams Yale and Cornell, averaging at least four goals per game. The Bobcats have scored five goals in a game seven times, and have been held to fewer than four goals just twice through their first 13 games.

Closing The Door
Last season, Quinnipiac was 16-0-0 in games in which it led after the second period. In their last 42 games in that scenario, dating back three seasons, Quinnipiac is undefeated at 39-0-3 when playing with a lead heading into the final frame. The Bobcats last loss,when leading after the second period, came in the 2006-07 ECAC Hockey Championship Game when Clarkson scored four third period goals to come-from-behind and take the league crown.

TD Bank Sports Center History
Since the door's opened on Quinnipiac University's state-of-the-art arena on Jan. 27, 2007, the Bobcats have played 52 games on their home ice, posting a 31-16-5 record.

Same Ole Wong
Senior Brandon Wong (Victoria, B.C.) leads Quinnipiac with eight goals and 11 assists for 19 points, good for 11th in the country with 1.46 points per game.

Wong Dinger
Wong is quickly moving up Quinnipiac's Division I goals scored mark. At the beginning of the season, Wong sat in a tie with Matt Froehlich '05 for 9th place with 49 career goals. With eight goals in 13 games, Wong ranks 6th all-time with 57, trailing Ryan Olson's '02 58 goals for fifth place. Matt Craig '05 sits in fourth place with 60 career goals.

I Love Lamp(e)
Senior Eric Lampe (Madison, Wisc.) also ranks 12th nationally in scoring with nine goals and nine assists for 18 points at a 1.38 per game clip. His 0.69 goals per game rank 16th nationally.

Making A Name For Themselves
Wong and Lampe make Quinnipiac one of four teams nationally, along with UMass, Cornell and Minnesota Duluth, to have two players ranked in the top 11 in scoring.

Lang(lois) Of The Lost
Freshman Jeremy Langlois (Tempe, Ariz.) became the first of Quinnipiac's 10 freshman skaters to post a multiple-goal game this season with two against Colgate on Friday, Nov. 20. Langlois posted another two-goal outing against Princeton on Wednesday, giving him two, two-goal games in his last three contests. Langlois leads all Quinnipiac freshmen with five goals and five assists for 10 points.

Freshman Experience
First-year Bobcat Jeremy Langlois ranks among the top 20 freshmen in NCAA Division I hockey in points per game with a 0.77 average.

Dan The Man
Sophomore Dan Clarke (Belleville, Ont.) is the only goalie in the country, with a 1.000 winning percentage at 8-0-0, including seven consecutive wins.
