Men's Ice Hockey Head Coach Rand Pecknold Featured On Inside Hockey Radio Show
Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey head coach Rand Pecknold was featured on the Inside Hockey Radio Show on Saturday, Jan. 30. The 16-year coaching veteran spoke with WQUN color analyst Todd Carroll and Inside Hockey Radio Show host James Murphy about the Bobcats early-season success and current state of the team. Pecknold, who published the instructional book "Hard-Core Hockey" last season, also discussed the current state of youth hockey in the United States, Canada and internationally.
Quinnipiac returns to action this weekend when it hosts nationally-ranked Cornell on Friday, Feb. 5 and Colgate on Saturday, Feb. 6 at the TD Bank Sports Center in Hamden, Conn. Both games will be broadcast on CBS College Sports at 8 p.m. CBS College Sports is available on DirecTV on Channel 613.
