Quinnipiac Men's Ice Hockey Goes For Series Sweep At Canisius On Monday, Jan. 17 At 4:05 PM

The Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey team will take on Canisius in the second game of their two-game series on Monday, Jan. 17 at 4:05 p.m. at the Buffalo State Sports Arena in Buffalo, N.Y. The Bobcats defeated the Golden Griffins on Sunday, 7-3, behind a two-goal performance from Jeremy Langlois and a point-explosion that saw seven different Bobcats record multiple points. The Bobcats used a four-goal first period with goals from Kellen Jones and Zach Davies book-ending a pair of goals by Langlois. Scott Zurevinski and Connor Jones added goals while freshman Cory Hibbler scored his first career goal in the closing seconds of the game. Zurevinski and Kellen Jones also added an assist while Loren Barron, Zach Hansen, Ben Arnt and Russell Goodman had two assists apiece.

Eric Hartzell improved to 9-3-1 on the year after he stopped 16 of 18 shots on goal over 56:16. Pat McGann played the final three minutes of the game in net.

Quinnipiac returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 22 when it hosts Team USA U-18 National Team at 7 p.m. at the TD Bank Sports Center.
