HAMDEN, Conn. - The Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey team's game against Yale University on Friday, Feb. 18, originally scheduled for 7 p.m., has been moved to 8 p.m. The game can be viewed on Comcast SportsNet New England as well as Connecticut Public Television (CPTV). Bobcat fans should refer to the Official Website of Quinnipiac Athletics, www.QuinnipiacBobcats.com, for up-to-the-minute schedule changes as well as the latest news, scores and highlights. Bill Schweizer will handle the play-by-play of the game with analysis from Fox 61 Sports Director Rich Coppola. Billy Mecca will have the sideline report for the game.

"We are very pleased that one of Connecticut's and college ice hockey's best rivalries will be able to be seen by all in Connecticut, as well as all over New England and the world." The Connecticut Sports Network (CTSN) is Connecticut's first-ever 24-hour local sports network, covering statewide high school and college sports. A combined effort of CPTV and WFSB-TV, CTSN is brought to viewers by the Comcast Corporation and Cox Communications and is available on Comcast cable channels 185, 187 and 744 and on the Cox Communications cable system channel 144.

Bobcat fans attending the game are encouraged to bring a hat to donate to Don's Hat Rack. Don's Hat Rack was created in 1999 in memory of Donald Perrotti who lost his battle to cancer. The hat rack is located in Yale New Haven Children's Hospital where Don spent 6 years of his life.

The eighth Heroes Hat championship will be on the line as the winner of the final regular-season game between Quinnipiac and Yale is the recipient. The Heroes Hat was established in honor of those who risked or lost their lives following the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. It remembersJoseph Mascali (FDNY/Staten Island 5), father of Quinnipiac alumni Chris and Jenn Mascali, as well as the many members of the Yale community who lost alumni, family and friends.

The Heroes Hat was originally presented to the winner of the Quinnipiac and UConn season series during its first four years from 2001-02 to 2004-05. The award was not presented during the 2005-06 season after Quinnipiac moved from Atlantic Hockey to ECAC Hockey. The Heroes Hat was revived the following year after bringing together new ECAC Hockey rivals, Quinnipiac and Yale.
