The Quinnipiac men's ice hockey team will look to bounce back from a 5-4 loss at Dartmouth on Friday night when it travels to Cambridge, Mass. to take on Harvard in an ECAC Hockey game at the Bright Hockey Center at 7 p.m.
First-year Bobcat Matthew Peca (Petawawa, Albert) had an assist to extend his point streak to nine games, passing Bryan Leitch's freshman record of eight games in 2006-07. Kellen Jones (Montrose, British Columbia) had a goal and two assists while Spencer Heichman (Yorba Linda, Calif.), John Dunbar (Calgary, Alberta) and Loren Barron (Glendora, Calif.) also scored for the Bobcats. The Bobcats were 2-for-2 on the power play, while killing all three of Dartmouth's power-play on the night.

Quinnipiac is 6-7-2 all-time against Harvard, but just 2-7-0 at the Crimson's Bright Hockey Center. Quinnipiac has won just once in its last three trips to Cambridge, with their win coming in their last trip on Dec. 8, 2010 with a 3-1 victory on the Crimson's home ice.

Harvard opened its 2011-12 season on Friday night against Princeton, losing to the Tigers, 4-3. Princeton used three power-play goals and 2-0 lead to pull out the win, but Harvard saw a pair of goals from Alex Killorn, and another from Luke Grenier, to keep the contest close. Alex Fallstrom picked up a pair of assists while goalie Steve Michalek stopped 34 shots in goal.
Last Year Against Harvard
Quinnipiac pulled the season sweep against the Crimson for the first time in program history with a win at the TD Bank Sports Center, 5-4 on Nov. 20, before defeating Harvard on its home ice, 3-1 on Dec. 8. Ben Arnt scored twice in the first match-up, including the game-winner in the third period to break a 4-4 tie. In the second game of the season series, Clay Harvey, Mike Glaicar and Jeremy Langlois found the back of the net to lead the Bobcats. Eric Hartzell picked up the win in both games, stopping 32 of 36 in the first game and 34 of 35 in the second.
