Clarkson is 13-12-5 overall and 7-6-3 in ECAC Hockey play. For the weekend, Clarke was 1-0-0 with a .951 save percentage while also posting a 1.66 goals-against average after letting up two goals in 72:28 in net. Clarke made an appearance in the Bobcats' 6-3 loss to Harvard on Friday, Feb. 3, turning away 7-of-8 shots on goal in the final period of play. He came back on the following night, earning his first start since Dec. 9, 2011, with a 32-save performance in a 2-1 ECAC Hockey win against Dartmouth.

"...one for each finger..."
The honor is Clarke's fifth of his career after winning four ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Week awards as a sophomore in 2009-10. This season, Clarke is 7-3-0 with a 2.00 goals-against average and a .911 save percentage. For his career, Clarke is 31-32-5 with a 2.57 GAA and a .905 save percentage with five shutouts.

The Bobcats And ECAC Hockey Awards
Clarke is the fourth Quinnipiac player to earn ECAC Hockey weekly honors this season after Jeremy Langlois (Tempe, Ariz.) earned player of the week honors on Oct. 18; Matthew Peca (Petawawa, Ontario) was named the league's rookie of the week on Oct. 25; and Eric Hartzell (White Bear Lake, Minn.) was named goalie of the week on Jan. 10.

Blue-Line Special
Against Dartmouth, Zach Davies assisted on both of Quinnipiac's goals in the Bobcats' 2-1 ECAC Hockey win. It was Davies' second two-assist game of the season, after he also had two helpers against Canisius on Oct. 15, 2011. Davies has three points in his last three games, after he also scored in the Bobcats win against Colgate on Jan. 14.

The Con(nor) Man
Leading scorer Connor Jones saw his six-game scoring streak halted when he failed to register a point against Harvard on Feb. 3. The second-year Bobcat responded with one of Quinnipiac's two goals in a 2-1 win against Dartmouth on Feb. 4.

The Bryce Is Right
Bryce Van Brabant tallied his third goal of his first season at Quinnipiac in the Bobcats' 6-3 loss to Harvard on Feb. 3. Van Brabant's goal was his first since Nov. 1 and his first point since Dec. 9.

Big Ben
Ben Arnt's goal against Dartmouth on Feb. 4 gave Quinnipac a two-goal lead after the first period, and would stand up as the game-winner in the end. It was Arnt's fourth goal of the year, and his first since Oct. 16 - a span of 17 games.

Elite Company
With two assists against Harvard, following a goal-and-an-assist game against Colgate, Matthew Peca joined Connor Jones and Scott Zurevinski as the only players to post back-to-back multiple-point games this season. Jones has accomplished the feat twice (Oct. 12 & 15; Nov. 1 & 4) while Zurevinski did it on Oct. 15-16.

Quinnipiac's January Athlete of the Month
Junior Zack Currie was named Quinnipiac's January Athlete of the Month. The third-year Bobcat currently leads all Quinnipiac defenseman in points (7 goals, 7 assists, 14 points) thanks in large part to a strong January in which the junior scored two goals and assisted on four more. Currie was the only Bobcat in Quinnipiac's line-up to produce two multiple-point games in QU's four games for the month. He assisted on both goals in a 2-1 upset of ECAC Hockey rival and nationally-ranked No. 20 Yale, before scoring once and assisting on another goal in a 7-1 route of No. 12 Colgate. Currie added assists against Brown and Cornell, making him one of two players on Quinnipiac's roster to tally a point in all four games this month.

Mr. Hockey At The Bank
Quinnipiac improved to 3-0 all-time when NHL Hall of Famer Gordie "Mr. Hockey" Howe is attendance, as was the case on Jan. 14 when arguably the game's greatest took in Quinnipiac's 7-1 win against Colgate.

Power Outage
Loren Barron's goal against Yale on Friday, Jan. 6,  was just the fifth power play goal allowed by the nationally-ranked Bulldogs this year.
