AS A JUNIOR IN 2011-12:
Finished the year at 12-11-6 overall with a 2.20 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage…His 2.20 GAA broke the program’s single-season record previously held by Jamie Holden (2.49)…Including 2011-12, his 2.24 career goals-against average stands as the best career mark in program history…Started both games at Ohio State…Took the loss in the Bobcats’ season-opener after stopping 14-of-16 shots on goal... Named the ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Week on Jan. 4, 2011 … Appeared in 28 games for the Bobcats, starting 27 of them … Finished the season with a 12-6-5 record … Led the team in minutes (1570), goals-against average (2.22), saves (735), save percentage (.927), wins (12), and win percentage (.630) … Finished the season third in the ECAC in save percentage, fourth in win percentage, and fifth in goals-against average … Made his first appearance of the season in a win at St. Cloud State on Oct. 29, turning away 21 shots … Won three straight games against ECAC competition in mid-November, defeating Colgate on Nov. 13, Dartmouth on Nov. 19, and Harvard on Nov. 20 … Shut out Dartmouth while making 31 saves … Held Harvard to one goal, while making 34 stops, in a win on the road on Dec. 8 … Turned away a career-high 53 shots in a 4-3 win over Nebraska-Omaha on Dec. 30 … The next night, he made 44 saves in a 3-2 win over Nebraska-Omaha … Held Princeton to one goal on the road in a 1-1 tie on Jan. 3, while making 34 saves … Surrendered one goal to Colgate in a 3-1 win on Jan. 7 … Made 21 saves in a 3-2 win at Clarkson on Jan. 28 … Turned away 31 shots in a tie at Rensselaer on Feb. 26 … Posted back-to-back shutouts in the ECAC playoffs, making 26 saves against Brown on Mar. 5 and stopping 24 shots at Cornell on Mar. 12.
