The Quinnipiac men's ice hockey team retained its No. 20 ranking for the second straight week in the USCHO.com Division I poll while also receiving votes in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Poll.

Quinnipiac tied Ohio State, 1-1, on Friday, Oct. 19 before defeating the Buckeyes, 3-1, on Saturday night. Matthew Peca (Petawawa, Ontario) scored twice on the weekend - once in each game - while Jeremy Langlois (Tempe, Ariz.) had a pair of goals on Saturday. Eric Hartzell (White Bear Lake, Minn.) went to 3-1-1 on the season after stopping 45 of Ohio State's 47 shots-on-goal for the weekend.

Quinnipiac will travel to Hyannis, Mass. to face Colgate in a non-conference game as part of the Cape Cod Classic at the Cape Cod Rink. The Bobcats return home on Tuesday, Nov. 6 to host American International at 7 p.m. Bobcat fans who wear their "I Voted Today" sticker will receive free admission, as well as all accompanying minors. The Bobcats will also host Colgate and Cornell on Oct. 9-10, respectively, for their first ECAC Hockey action of the year.
