Bobcats Enter Week #5 As NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey's Top-Ranked Team

For the fifth consecutive week, the Quinnipiac men's ice hockey team was ranked No. 1 in the USCHO.com Division I poll and the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Poll. The Bobcats also remain in the top spot in the PairWise Rankings, which they have held since Jan. 19, 2013. 

Quinnipiac received 39 of the 50 first-place votes in the USCHO.com poll and 31 of the 34 votes in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Poll. The Bobcats were idle this past weekend with a bye in the first round of the ECAC Hockey Championship tournament. ECAC Hockey's top-seeded Bobcats after winning the Cleary Cup for the first time since joining the league in 2005, will host No. 9 seed Cornell on Mar. 15-17 for a best-of-three series at High Point Solutions Arena at the TD Bank Sports Center.

Friday and Saturday night's games are both set for 7 p.m., with Sunday's Game 3 slated for a 7:30 p.m. start, if needed. Saturday's game can also be seen live on New England Sports Network (NESN).
