Director of Athletics Jack McDonald Featured On

Quinnipiac Director of Athletics Jack McDonald was highlighted in a featured on by Adam Wodon. The article chronicles McDonald's tenure at Quinnipiac and his vision for Quinnipiac's athletics.

McDonald is currently in his 18th year at Quinnipiac and has overseen the growth and expansion of Quinnipiac's department of athletics from a Division II program to featuring the No. 1 men's ice hockey program in the nation heading into the NCAA Frozen Four. Among his many accomplishments at Quinnipiac, McDonald has elevated Quinnipiac's from "Braves" to "Bobcats" and from Division II to Division I. Most notably, McDonald was instrumental in founding MAAC Hockey and moving Quinnipiac to Atlantic Hockey and ultimately the ECAC. This past year, McDonald made the move to bring Quinnipiac Athletics to the MAAC for all sports.

Quinnipiac will head to Pittsburgh, Pa. to compete in its first NCAA Frozen Four in program history. The top-ranked, top-seeded Bobcats will take on St. Cloud State on Thursday, Apr. 11 at 8 p.m. at the CONSOL Energy Center.
