The Duomo di Como is regarded as the last gothic cathedrals built in Italy, and serves as the seat of the Bishop of Como. Construction of the cathedral begame in the late 1300's and was not completed until 1770.

The Bobcats also got their first taste of Italian cuisine, sampling authentic pizza at Cafe Riva. They also stopped in a gelato shop close to sample one of the region's sweeter treats before retiring to their hotel after a long day of travel.
