In 2012-13, Federico played a major role in the Bobcats' NCAA Frozen Four appearance with a breakout season that saw the blueliner tally 11 assists in 42 games played while posting a team-best +22 to earn the program's 7th Player Award. This season, Federico scored his first career goal at Colgate and has added eight assists to date for nine points. He also ranks among the national leaders in blocked shots.
Quinnipiac will next return to action on Dec. 29 at the UConn Holiday Tournament from the XL Center in Hartford, Conn. The Bobcats will play UMass Amherst in the First Round game set to meet either Sacred Heart or the host Huskies on Dec. 30.
