Nationally-ranked No. 5 Quinnipiac men's ice hockey goalie Michael Garteig (Prince George, British Columbia) was honored with his fifth ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Week award of the 2013-14 season, as announced by the league.

Garteig also grabbed the ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Month awards for October and November. This season, Sam Anas (Potomac, Md.) has been honored with three Rookie of the Week awards while twins Connor and Kellen Jones (Montrose, British Columbia) have each won the Player of the Week award.

Garteig was the only ECAC Hockey goalie to play in three games last week and was 2-0-1 with a 1.66 GAA and a .926 save percentage in 181:14 in goal. Garteig stopped 20 of 22 against Harvard in a 2-2 tie on Tuesday, Jan. 6 in Cambridge, Mass. Against No. 5/4 Union on Friday, Jan. 10, Garteig turned back 27 of the Dutchmen's 28 shots on goal in a 2-1 win.
