Quinnipiac Athletics will host Senior Night festivities on Saturday, Feb. 22 at 6:45 p.m. to honor those that will play their final regular-season game at High Point Solutions Arena. Quinnipiac will honor: Captain Cory Hibbeler, assistant captains Connor and Kellen JonesBrooks Robinson, Jordan Samuels-Thomas and Zach Tolkinen. In addition, senior student athletic trainer Marissa Harper and student managers Kristen Hurley and Ross Andrews will also be recognized for their dedication to the men's ice hockey program. Saturday night's game agaisnt Colgate is available on New England Sports Network, where available, featured Bill Schweizer with the play-by-play, Rich Coppola with the color commentary and Bill Mecca with the sideline report. Quinnipiac was ranked fifth in the latest Division I poll, released on Feb. 17, 2014. This marks the 18th consecutive week that the Bobcats have been ranked in the top 10 nationally.

To date, Quinnipiac holds a 14-12-2 record all-time in 28 meetings against Colgate. The Bobcats have won three straight against the Raiders, including a 7-2 win in Hamilton on Nov. 1, 2013 to improve to 6-7-1 all-time on Colgate's home ice. Quinnipiac is also 7-4-0 all-time at home, including a 6-3-0 record at High Point Solutions Arena. 

Colgate enters Saturday's game with a record of 15-11-5 overall and 11-5-3 in the ECAC Hockey standings following a 6-1 win at Princeton on Friday night, behind Tyson Spink's hat trick. The Raiders currently sit in second place in the league standings with 25 points, tied with Quinnipiac with three regular-season games to play. Colgate's season has been one of two halves as they headed into the first-half break with a record of 7-9-2. Since then, Colgate has posted a record of 7-2-3, but has won just once in its last five games (1-2-2). Colgate features five 20-point scorers, led by Tyson Spink (8-20-25), Mike Borkowski (8-18-26), Tylor Spink (11-13-24), Kyle Baun (10-12-22) and Darcy Murphy (13-8-21). In goal, Charlie Finn is 12-5-4 with a 2.50 GAA and a .915 save percentage.

Entering Saturday night's game, Quinnipiac currently sits tied with Colgate for second place in the league standings with 25 points, ensuring them the sixth-seed or higher. A win against Colgate on Saturday night would clinch the fourth seed, and a first round bye, in the ECAC Hockey Tournament, while a Bobcats win against the Big Red combined with a Union win at home against Clarkson would clinch the third seed in the tournament.  

Since its first game on Jan. 28, 2007, Quinnipiac is 85-41-17 in 143 games at High Point Solutions at the TD Bank Sports Center.
