Jones finished the regular season with career-highs in goals (18) assists (21) and points (39 and finished with the third-most points (39) among all ECAC Hockey players. In the Bobcats' ECAC Hockey Quarterfinal series sweep against Yale, Jones had two assists to push his career-best totals to 23 assists and 41 points.

This season Jones led NCAA Division I hockey with four shorthanded goals and is one of five players nationally with at least 18 goals and 23 assists. Jones also tallied 13 multiple-point games which led the Bobcats, while also ranking second in ECAC Hockey. The senior assistant captain averaged 0.83 blocks per game and was a catalyst on the league's best penalty-kill unit which stopped 95 of 103 situations when faced with a man-down.

Earlier this season, Jones also became the 21st player in Quinnipiac's Division I history to reach the 100-point mark, and 35th player all-time, while currently tallying 53 goals and 73 assists for 126 points in 155 games played.

Anas was recognized as a finalist for the league's top rookie award earlier this month, and could potentially become the third Quinnipiac player since 2005-06 when the Bobcats joined ECAC Hockey to win the award. Anas is one of three 20-goal scorers in NCAA Division I men's ice hockey after depositing 21 for the year. In the process he became just the fifth Quinnipiac freshman in the Division I history to reach the 20-goal mark. In addition, he is just the second Quinnipiac freshman – along with Brian Herbert – to tally 20 goals and 20 assists in his first year. Anas' 21 goals and 42 assists lead all NCAA Division I freshmen and is the only freshman with 40 points for the season

Anas was named the National Rookie of the Month and ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Month in November. He was the only first-year player in ECAC Hockey to earn three Rookie of the Week (10/29, 11/5 and 11/26) awards.
