Opening Statement Head Coach Rand Pecknold:
We're excited to be here. It's a great venue. We would've been happy to go anywhere, but Bridgeport was our top choice. There are three great teams in the tournament with us and I'm proud of the way our guys have played this year. We've had a great season and I think we're still hungry.

Head Coach Rand Pecknold
On how he viewed Quinnipiac's game vs Providence earlier in the season

I thought we played great that night. We controlled a lot of the play. Providence is a great hockey team. They know their strengths, they're physical, they battle and they have one of the best goalies in the country. We'll have our hands full tomorrow.

On experience benefiting the team going into the game
You would like to think it's going to measure for something. There's certainly something you get from experience, but we have a lot of freshman that play a lot of big minutes for us that haven't been in that environment. In the end, I'm confident in our team. It's been an absolute joy to coach this team.

On what he likes most about his team
I've been coaching for 20 years and I've had a lot of good players come through, but I haven't had this many all at once so it's pretty fortunate. It's a great group of guys who compete and battle everyday. We're hungry and we're into it. I have no doubt that our guys will be ready to roll tomorrow when that puck drops. We have to get a little bit of puck luck.

On what has made the team so successful in puck possession
We've got some really good players that buy into our system. We want to possess that puck. When we have the puck a lot we don't have to play defense. Our top seven forwards have been outstanding all year long. We get those three lines going and get the puck a lot. Our defense does a good job at keeping the game simple and understanding their role. The more you attack the more teams back off us. Our offense is the best defense.

Connor Jones
On how he viewed Quinnipiac's game vs Providence earlier in the season
I thought both teams played hard and it's going to be a war tomorrow.

Kellen Jones
On how he viewed Quinnipiac's game vs Providence earlier in the season
They definitely have a good team. Last time we played them was a great atmosphere at Quinnipiac and it's kind of nice to play at Bridgeport because now they can bring some fans down with them.

Cory Hibbeler
On what stands out to him about the team or what needs to be addressed
If there's anything that needs to be addressed someone on our team will bring it up. Our biggest strength is our character and our will to win. Everyone comes to the rink everyday with the right attitude.

On if there is any burning desire to finish unfinished business
Definitely. All of the returners have been thinking about it since last year. We're a couple of games away from going to Philly. We're going to take it one at a time and it's going to be tough tomorrow so we need to focus in on that tomorrow.
