HAMDEN, Conn. – Recently receiving votes in the USILA and Nike/Inside Lacrosse Polls, the Quinnipiac University men's lacrosse team also climbed higher to second in the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) Coaches' Poll, which was announced on Tuesday, March 12, 2013. The Bobcats, now 3-0 on the season, are off to their best start since the 2008 campaign.
The Yale Bulldogs have knocked UMass off of the top spot of the NEILA Coaches Poll after extending their win streak to three in a row this week. Quinnipiac followed closely in second, while the Minutemen, Brown and Fairfield round out the top five. Providence came in sixth and Harvard and Holy Cross concluded the eight-team field.

Quinnipiac is back in action on Tuesday against Providence (3 PM) and on Saturday against Hartford (12 PM). Both games will be played at the QU Lacrosse Turf Field in Hamden, Conn.
