On Saturday September 20th at 8 a.m., the fifth Annual “Mari’s Miles for Smiles” race was held. The event is a 10k race that helps to raise money for the Mari Hall Foundation, which benefits awareness for ASD, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, better known as Autism.

Senior goalie Gill Conners (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) has been named to the 2014 USILA/LaxWorld Division I/II North-South Game, where he will suit up for Team North on Monday, May 26 at 10:00 a.m. The game will be played at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md.

Conners and Corcoran Selected to the NEILA Second Team
Two members of the Quinnipiac University men’s lacrosse team earned All-New England honors for the second straight year, as senior Gill Conners (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) and junior Pat Corcoran (Stratford, Conn.) were named to the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) Second Team, which was voted upon by coaches around the region.

Three student-athletes of the Quinnipiac University men’s lacrosse team – senior Gill Conners (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.), and juniors Michael Sagl (West Islip, N.Y.) and Carmen French (Baltimore, Md.) – were named to the MAAC All-Conference Second Team, announced by the league office on Wednesday night at the annual awards banquet in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

Gill Conners Helps Men’s Lacrosse to 15-10 Senior Day Win Over Air Force
The Quinnipiac University men’s lacrosse team scored early and often on Saturday afternoon, as the Bobcats honored their senior class members in the best way possible with a 15-10 win over Air Force Academy on Senior Day at the QU Lacrosse Turf Field. Gill Conners (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) had 18 saves in net, and Matt Diehl (Towson, Md.) led the attack with a season-high six points in the win.

The Quinnipiac University men’s lacrosse team (5-8, 3-3 MAAC) wraps up regular-season play this weekend, Saturday, April 26 against the United States Air Force Academy (8-4, 3-1 ECAC). The Bobcats and the Falcons are set to square off at 12 p.m. at the QU Lacrosse Turf Field on Mount Carmel Campus. Prior to faceoff, Quinnipiac will honor its senior class members with a brief ceremony.

Men's Lacrosse Defeated By No. 13 Yale, 14-11; Keenan Nets Career High in Loss
It was a career night for sophomore Ryan Keenan (Oshawa, Ontario), but nationally-ranked No. 13 Yale University was too much for the Quinnipiac University men’s lacrosse team on Tuesday night. The Bulldogs topped the Bobcats, 14-11, at Reece Stadium in New Haven – renewing a rivalry that hadn’t seen action since the 2002 campaign.

Fourth Quarter Comeback Halted In Men’s Lacrosse 11-10 Loss to Canisius
As thrilling an ending one may ever see in a men’s lacrosse game, a monstrous comeback bid by Quinnipiac University came up just short in an 11-10 loss to Canisius College before nearly 500 people at the QU Lacrosse Turf Saturday afternoon. Six unanswered goals in the fourth quarter pulled the Bobcats to within one goal with one minute to play, but a stellar defensive stand finalized a heartbreaking defeat for the home team.

Men’s Lacrosse Downs Monmouth For Third Straight Win, 17-9
Quinnipiac University had its best offensive road effort in some 13 years on Saturday afternoon, as the Bobcats claimed a big 17-8 victory over Monmouth University in MAAC men's lacrosse action at Monmouth Stadium. Dylan Webster (Brampton, Ontario) and Ryan Keenan (Oshawa, Ontario) each scored five goals for the Bobcats, helping Quinnipiac extend its current win-streak to three straight games.

Although Quinnipiac (4-4, 2-1 MAAC) and Monmouth (0-9, 0-2 MAAC) were long-standing rivals in the Northeast Conference, the Bobcats and the Hawks’ men’s lacrosse teams will meet for the very first time on Saturday, April 5, 2014. Monmouth started its program back in February and will host the Bobcats at 3 p.m. at Monmouth Stadium in West Long Branch, N.J.

Men's Lacrosse Tops Detroit Mercy in Overtime Thriller, 10-9
Michael Sagl’s (West Islip, N.Y.) goal with 3:08 seconds remaining in the first overtime gave the Quinnipiac men’s lacrosse team a thrilling, come-from-behind 10-9 road victory at Detroit Mercy on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Bobcats moved to 3-4 overall, but more importantly improved to 2-1 in MAAC play.

The Bobcats and the Titans square off for the fifth time in the all-time series with faceoff slated for 12 p.m. at Titan Field.

Three different Bobcats – Michael Sagl (West Islip, N.Y.), Matt Diehl (Towson, Md.) and Ryan Keenan (Oshawa, Ontario) – each had two goals in Saturday’s MAAC men’s lacrosse match, but a late Marist College rally left Quinnipiac with its first conference loss of the season, 13-8, at Tenney Stadium.

Strong Second Half Sends Men’s Lacrosse Past Manhattan for First MAAC Win, 10-7
Two upperclassmen – Pat Corcoran (Stratford, Conn.) and Michael Sagl (West Islip, N.Y.) – carried the bulk of the load offensively, and helped the Quinnipiac University men's lacrosse team to a 10-7 victory over Manhattan College on Saturday afternoon. The Bobcats joined Canisius and Siena with their first MAAC wins of the season.

The Quinnipiac University men’s lacrosse team (1-3, 0-0 MAAC) will play its inaugural Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) game on Saturday, March 15, 2014. The Bobcats welcome Manhattan College (1-5, 0-0 MAAC) to the QU Lacrosse Turf Complex for a noon start in Hamden. Saturday marks the first day of MAAC competition around the league.

Men's Lacrosse Falls to Hartford in Connecticut Clash, 6-3
The two goalkeepers shined in Wednesday afternoon’s non-conference men’s lacrosse match, but it was the Hartford Hawks who defeated the Quinnipiac Bobcats with a 6-3 decision from Al-Marzook Field in West Hartford. Three fourth quarter goals proved to be the difference in a clash featuring two of the region’s top defensive teams.

Quinnipiac featured both a balanced attack and tremendous goaltending in Tuesday's non-conference lacrosse match, but suffered a tough loss to Harvard University, 10-8, at Soldiers Field in Cambridge, Mass. The sophomore tandem of Ryan Keenan (Oshawa, Ontario) and Connor Meth (Basking Ridge, N.J.) each scored three-point afternoons to lead the Bobcats.

Two senior class members of the Quinnipiac University men’s lacrosse team - Dylan Webster (Brampton, Ontario) and Gill Conners (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) – have earned MAAC weekly honors for their performances this past weekend, announced Monday, March 3, 2014 by the conference office. Webster was named MAAC Offensive Player of the Week, while Conners was tabbed MAAC Defensive Player of the Week.

The Quinnipiac men’s lacrosse team clicked on all cylinders on Saturday evening, and dominated the turf to pick up its first win of the 2014 campaign. Behind a eight-point outburst from Dylan Webster (Brampton, Ontario) and 19 saves in goal by Gill Conners (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.), the Bobcats trounced Providence, 16-9, at the Bryant University Turf Complex in Smithfield, R.I.

The venue and time of the Quinnipiac University men’s lacrosse game against Providence College has been moved due to poor field conditions. The Bobcats and the Friars will now play on the campus of Bryant University (Bulldog Stadium) at 4 p.m.

The Quinnipiac University men’s lacrosse team was selected to finish fourth in a preseason poll of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, head coaches released on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014. Senior Gill Conners (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) and junior Michael Sagl (West Islip, N.Y.) were chosen to represent Quinnipiac on the All-MAAC Preseason Team as well.

Men’s Lacrosse Announces 2014 Schedule
13th year Quinnipiac men’s lacrosse head coach Eric Fekete released the Bobcats’ 2014 schedule on Tuesday which features one game against cross-town rival Yale, who finished the 2013 campaign ranked seventh in the Nike/Inside Lacrosse Poll, and another against reigning MAAC Champion and NCAA Tournament participant Detroit Mercy.
