HAMDEN, Conn. - Quinnipiac men's soccer senior Rodrigo Uchoa (Brasilia, Brazil) was one of 19 Quinnipiac students selected to the Financial Association's National Honor Society, as published in the Hartford Courant iTowns on Wednesday, May 10.
Uchoa, who currently holds an overall grade point average of 3.96, was previously named Quinnipiac's senior male scholar-athlete last week at the 2010-11 annual athletic awards banquet on Wednesday, May 4.
"Everyone associated with our men's soccer program is very proud of Rodrigo," said head coach Eric Da Costa. "He is deserving of every bit of success and recognition bestowed upon him. Rodrigo is extremely hard working with steadfast focus and dedication. He is a tremendous representative of Quinnipiac Men's Soccer and no one better exemplifies the term Student Athlete."
Joining Uchoa as a new member of the Financial Association's National Honor Society are Erin M. Belgard, Michael T. Carbone, Samantha L. Carter, Sarah W. Chase, Stefani Colonnelli, Bradley L. Cronister, Rebecca L. Joseph, John M. Klein, Timothy M. Kurowski, Joshua-Caleb Lemire, Ryan M. Maloney, Andrew M. Mayernick, Danielle R. Mazeika, Christopher M. McGuire, Kirk T. Medrzychowski, Evan J. Pawelk, Kristen R. Schweighardt, and Bridget R. Todd.
