Graciano Brito '09 Named To USL Pro Team of the Week
TAMPA, Fla. - Former Quinnipiac men's soccer star Graciano Brito (Sau Nicolau, Cape Verde) has been named to the United Soccer Leagues (USL) Pro Team of the Week, as announced on Tuesday, May 17. Brito, who plays for F.C. New York, netted his first two goals of the season during the week, including the game-winner on May 13 in a 1-0 win over Charleston. He added his second goal of the season the following game against Wilmington on May 14.
Brito currently holds Quinnipiac men's soccer program-record for most career goals (40) and points (92) and also holds the record for most single-season points with 39.
He now leads F.C. New York with four points on the year in just six games played. F.C. New York is currently fifth in the National Division with a 1-3-2 overall record and next faces Pittsburgh on Saturday, May 18.
