Men’s Soccer Ranked Sixth in NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division I Regional Poll

HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac University men's soccer team was ranked sixth in the second NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division I North Atlantic Regional Poll, announced by the association on Tuesday, September 10, 2013. The NSCAA/Continental Tire College Rankings are an indicator of week-to-week status of qualified programs.

The Bobcats earned their way onto the census after picking up two points on the road with results against Boston College (9/2) and Lafayette (9/7). Reigning Northeast Conference Champion Fairleigh Dickinson sits atop the poll with a 3-0 record through the first two weeks of action. Saint Francis University earned the second slot and is followed by MAAC affiliates Siena, Iona and Rider. After Quinnipiac, St. Francis (N.Y.), Sacred Heart, Monmouth and Bryant wrap up the bottom half of the list.

The Bobcats are back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 11 with their 2013 home-opener from the QU Soccer Field. Quinnipiac welcomes Loyola (Md.) to Hamden for a 4 p.m. start.
