HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac University men's soccer team was ranked 10th in the third NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division I North Atlantic Regional Poll, announced by the association on Tuesday, September 17, 2013. The NSCAA/Continental Tire College Rankings are an indicator of week-to-week status of qualified programs.
The Bobcats posted a 1-1 record last week, which included the team's first win of the season against Holy Cross (9/14). Loyola (Md.), last year's MAAC regular season champion, was selected as the top team in this week's edition. Saint Francis University was picked second, while Fairleigh Dickinson, Rider and St. Francis Brooklyn round out the top five. Iona, Siena, Canisius, Fairfield, Quinnipiac and Monmouth (tie for 10th), round out the bottom half of the census.

The Bobcats are back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 18 with its third home game of the 2013 campaign. Quinnipiac welcomes Army for a 4 p.m. start at the QU Soccer Field on Mount Carmel Campus.
