Bobcats Earn Men’s Soccer Goal of the Week

HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac University men's soccer team's second goal against Canisius College on Saturday, Oct. 19 was featured on as the Goal of the Week. Senior captain Simon Hinde (Canberra, Australia) and the Bobcats caught the committee's attention with a beautiful goal in the 12th minute of play.

Hinde was on the receiving end of wonderful one-touch passes from James Doig (Liverpool, England) and Sam Nicol (Edinburgh, Scotland). Hinde responded with a one-touch goal of his own into the upper right corner for a 2-0 lead over Canisius. It proved to be the game-winner after Canisius scored once more, vaulting Quinnipiac to 3-0-1 in the MAAC and into a tie for the league lead (at the time).
