BALTIMORE, Md. The Quinnipiac University men's tennis team was defeated at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County, 7-0, Wednesday afternoon. With the loss, the Bobcats fall to 4-2, while the Retrievers improve to 4-3 on the season.
After the Retrievers won all three doubles matches by an 8-5 margin, Charlie Feldman (Easton, Conn.) came closest to a victory at No. 5 singles, falling in three sets to Allen Tsang, 6-7, 6-3, 10-6.
The Bobcats return to action Friday, when they play their first Northeast Conference match of the season at Mount St. Mary's. Matches are set to begin at 2 p.m.
