As a freshman:
Won a spot on the team in the most competitive walk-on
tryouts in program history ... Named NEC Rookie of the Week after
reaching the finals of the Flight D singles and Flight B Doubles at
the Quinnipiac Invitational ... Compiled a 10-6 record as a
freshman, including a 2-1 mark in dual matches ... Won the
consolation title at the Connecticut State Championships ... Earned
singles victories against opponents from Fairfield, UConn,
Hartford, Holy Cross and Villanova.
Before Quinnipiac:
Played No. 1 singles during his final three years at
Scituate, going an undefeated 19-0 as team captain in his senior
season...earned Boston Globe All-Scholastic Team honors as
a senior and earned the same award from the Patriot Ledger
in his final two seasons...a three-time Patriot League All-Star
selection...earned Team MVP in his junior and senior
campaigns...led Scituate to a 17-3 overall record as a
senior...also played club tennis for the USTA Y Team, leading his
team to the regional finals...a four-year letter winner in both
soccer and tennis, while also lettering twice in winter
track...scored nine goals and added nine assists while earning Team
MVP and captaining the soccer team as a senior...was Patriot
League All-Star in soccer as a senior...led his team in scoring and
earned the League Sportsmanship Award in soccer as a senior...led
his track team in points as a senior...earned the Dotheau Devereux
