Conn. - The Quinnipiac University men's and women's tennis teams
are both the third seeds in this weekend's Northeast Conference
Tournament, the league office has announced. The tournament will be
played Friday through Sunday at Mercer County Tennis Center in West
Windsor, N.J. The women's team looks to recapture the NEC
Championships and the accompanying NCAA Tournament berth for the
sixth time in seven years, while the Bobcats men look to secure
their fourth title in seven years.
Men's and Women's Tennis Take Third Seeds In NEC Tournament
Both teams will pair up against sixth-seeded Saint Francis (Pa.) in the quarterfinal round. The women will face the Red Flash at 11:30 a.m., while the men's match is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
