Conn. - The 2010 Northeast Conference Champion Quinnipiac
University men's tennis team will learn its NCAA Tournament
opponent and destination this evening between 5-6 p.m., when the
pairings are unveiled on ESPNews. The third-seeded Bobcats earned
the NEC Championship by defeating a pair of teams that had defeated
them in the regular season. QU edged second-seeded Fairleigh
Dickinson, 4-3, in the semifinals, before outlasting top-seeded
Sacred Heart, 4-3, in the finals.
Men's Tennis Learns NCAA Opponent, Destination Tonight
This year's title marks the fourth time in the last seven years that the Bobcats have reached the NCAA Tournament. In 2004, the Bobcats faced Harvard in the first round, while Quinnipiac met Illinois in 2005. In 2006, the Bobcats traveled to Stanford.
