Men's Cross Country Ranked 14th In New England By NEICAAA

HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac University men's cross country team landed in the most recent New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association poll. Quinnipiac is ranked 14th in New England after finishing 11th of 47 teams at Saturday's New England Championships at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass.

Richard Klauber's (Thomaston, Conn.) time of 25:15 was good for 21st overall in a field of 315 runners as he set a Quinnipiac freshman record on the Franklin Park course. He was honored as the Northeast Conference Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week for the third time following his performance. Junior Tyler Dinnan (Juneau, Alaska), sophomore John Greenlaw (Hampstead, N.H.) and freshman Dan Roark (Dracut, Mass.) also helped the Bobcats finish as the top team from the NEC with 335 points.

Quinnipiac returns to action Friday, Oct. 17, when they compete at the Penn State Invitational in State College, Pa. The race will begin at 10 a.m.
