Men's Indoor Track Picked Eighth In NEC Preseason Coaches Poll
HAMDEN, Conn. The Quinnipiac University men's indoor track team was picked to finish eighth in the Northeast Conference Preseason Coaches Poll. Monmouth was tabbed as the top team as selected by the conference's coaches with eight first-place votes. Sacred Heart finished a close second with four first-place votes.

most recently ran in the Yale Season Opener on Saturday at Coxe
Cage in New Haven, Conn. Highlighting the meet for Quinnipiac were
Brendan Amoruso (Northport, N.Y.) and Dan Roark (Dracut, Mass.)
with personal best times in their respective races. Amoruso
finished the 800 meter race with a time of 2:01.22, eclipsing his
previous personal best time in the event. Roark's first race ever
on the 5000 meter indoor track ended with the freshman crossing the
line as the top Quinnipiac runner with a time of 15:28.97.
The Bobcats return to action on Saturday, Jan 10 when they compete at the Yale Collegiate Meet. The race is scheduled to start at 12:20 p.m.
