BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Quinnipiac University men's cross country team
ran at the Paul Short Invitational held at Lehigh University in
Bethlehem, Pa. on Friday, Oct. 1. The 37th annual
Invitational had over 5,000 runners from 230 colleges and high
schools scheduled to compete in races throughout the day. The
Bobcats finished in 33rd place out of 40 teams in the
Men's College Brown 8K Race. Sophomore Mike
Levene (Redding, Conn.) finished in 37th place
overall and was Quinnipiac's top finisher with a time of 26:15.

Jacob Cetera (Chicago, Ill.) and John Beckshaw (Medford, Mass.) were Quinnipiac's next two runners to finish in 27:48 and 28:15, respectively.
"We've been working really hard throughout the season, but we're not going to see the benefits until we start to taper down into the season," said Head Coach Carolyn Martin. "We're hoping our hard work will carry through to the Northeast Conference Championships and Regionals."
The Bobcats are scheduled to run at the New England Championships at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass. at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9.
