“I thought the men’s race went really well today,” said head coach Carolyn Martin. “We had a couple of athletes run personal records. I think it was a great way to get the team focused for next week’s conference meet.”
Freshman Thomas Dextradeur (Branford, Conn.) paced the Bobcats with a 15th place finish at 15:52, while junior Mike Levene (Redding, Conn.) finished the 5k course in 18th place overall in 16:05. “The senior day ceremony was really nice,” said Martin. ‘We’re graduating two captains, and another great runner, who have all done a great job for us in the past four years. They’ll certainly be missed!”
