Men's Cross Country Places 31st At 2011 NCAA Northeast Regional Championships
The Quinnipiac men’s cross country team placed 31st out of 33 teams at the 2011 NCAA Division I Northeast Regional Cross Country Championships on Saturday afternoon at the University of Buffalo. Syracuse won the championship meet with a total of 54 points, while the Bobcats compiled 956 points on the day. Junior Mike Levene (Redding, Conn.) led Quinnipiac on the 10k course as he placed 146th in 34:26.7.

Men's Cross Country Places Sixth Out of 12 Teams At NEC Championships
The Quinnipiac men’s cross country team finished sixth out of 12 teams at the 2011 Northeast Conference Championships on Saturday morning at Holmdel Park in Holmdel, N.J. The Bobcats finished the 8k course with a total of 171 points, while Central Connecticut State won the title with 54 points. Freshman Spencer Mannion (Brookfield, Conn.) led Quinnipiac as he placed 27th overall in 27:50.90.

The Quinnipiac men’s cross country team placed fifth out of seven teams at the Central Connecticut State Mini Meet on Friday afternoon. CCSU placed first with 27 points, while the Bobcats took fifth place with 119 total points. Quinnipiac also recognized its three graduating seniors at the meet.

Men's Cross Country Places 33rd Out Of 43 Teams At New England Championships
The Quinnipiac men’s cross country team placed 33rd out of 43 teams in the varsity race at the New England (NEICAAA) Championships on Saturday afternoon at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass. Quinnipiac freshman Spencer Mannion (Brookfield, Conn.) led the Bobcats with a 68th place finish in 26:08. The University of Connecticut won the men’s varsity meet with 149 points, while Quinnipiac finished with a total of 823 points.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Quinnipiac men’s cross country team finished in 32nd place out of 46 teams at the 38th Annual Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University on Friday afternoon. The Bobcats finished the Brown 8k Race with a total of 761 points, while Iona College won the meet with 125 points. Junior Richard Stoliker (Shelton, Conn.) was Quinnipiac’s top finisher, placing 58th in 26:39.

The Quinnipiac men’s cross country team placed eighth out of 14 teams at the 17th Annual Monmouth Invitational on Saturday morning. East Stroudsburg University won the 8k course with 63 points, while Quinnipiac finished with 178 points in total. The Bobcats were led by freshman Spencer Mannion (Brookfield, Conn.), who placed sixth overall.

The Bobcats finished with a total of 286 points, while Princeton won the 8k course with 26 points. Freshman Spencer Mannion (Brookfield, Conn.) was Quinnipiac’s top finisher, placing 50th overall in 27:05.32.

Men's Cross Country Takes Second Place At Stony Brook Season Opener
The Quinnipiac men’s cross country team competed at the Stony Brook Season Opener on Saturday morning. Freshman Spencer Mannion (Brookfield, Conn.) led the Bobcats as he placed fourth with a time of 19:33 in his first collegiate meet. Overall, the host took first place with 18 points, while Quinnipiac finished in second place with 50 points and CW Post came in third with 66 points.

The Quinnipiac University men’s cross country team was chosen to finish eighth in the Northeast Conference Pre-Season Poll as announced by the league office on Tuesday, Aug. 9. The Bobcats finished eighth at the 2010 NEC Cross Country Championships and were led by junior Mike Levene (Redding, Conn.), who finished 24th.
