The course begins alongside to the Quinnipiac Soccer Field and makes its way across the Mount Carmel campus quad and around other various Quinnipiac athletic fields.

Last Time Out

The Bobcats claimed a fourth place finish at the Shawn M. Nassaney Memorial Race hosted by Bryant University. Freshman Brendan Copley secured his second top-10 finishes in as many races to start the season. Senior Rich Klauber finished seconds behind Copley in 11th place to lead Quinnipiac as they bested seven other NEC competitors on Saturday Sep. 8.

Senior Day

Seniors Rich Klauber, Mike Levene, and Edgar Carrasco will all be taking part in their final home meet on Saturday and will be honored before the start of the women's event at 10:00 a.m. Each runner has had a distinguished career and has certainly left their mark on the program.

Klauber Career Highlights

He helped guide the Bobcats to a third straight Northeast Conference crown during his freshman year as he won the Outstanding Performer of the Year in 2008. He followed with a second place finish in the 2009 NEC Championship to earn his second All-Conference merit. Klauber already has a second place finish at the Stony Brook Invitational to earn his third career NEC Athlete of the Week honor.

Levene Career Highlights

Levene has been a mainstay for the program in the past four seasons. He dominated during his freshman year with a 6th place finish at the Paul Short Invitational, led the team in the New England Championships coming in 24th overall, and placed 5th overall to earn All-Conference honors at the 2009 Northeast Conference Championship. Quinnipiac named him the Male Athlete of the Month for September 2010 and he led the Bobcats in five of the six races he competed during his sophomore year.  Last season he was the first Bobcat to cross the finish line in the NCAA Northeast Regionals.

Carrasco Career Highlights

Carrasco has been as resilient a runner the program has ever seen, never backing down from a race and showing the ability to compete in any race for the Bobcats. He appeared in all eight races for the team last season and has already ran in the first two to start this season. He achieved a personal-best time at the 2011 New England Championships as he finished in 28:45.

Next Time Out

The Bobcats will have their first week off thus far in the season as the men's cross country team will next travel to the Lehigh Paul Short Invitational in Bethlehem, Pa. on Saturday Sep. 28 with the event starting at 12:00 p.m.
