As a Sophomore in 2012: Placed 43rd overall at the Stony Brook Invitational to start his 2012 season with a time of 21:57.15…Posted a season-best 29:03.1 in the Nassaney Memorial Race the following weekend…Finished  a season-best sixth-fastest on the team at the Quinnipiac Invitational with a time of 30:38.1…Raced in the Princeton Invitational and crossed the line in 29:11.

As a Freshman in 2011: Was a 100th place finisher at the Northeast Conference Championship on Oct. 29 with a time of 32:39.9…Ran the Central Connecticut Cross Country Mini-Meet on Oct. 21 in 17:18…Finished the New England Championships on Oct. 8 at 29:26…Had a season-best time of 28:33 at the Paul Short Men’s Brown 8k on Sep. 30…Placed 81st at the Monmouth Invitational on Sep. 17 with a time of 29:31.3.

Before Quinnipiac: Attended Shelton High School where he ran varsity cross country, indoor and outdoor track in 2009 and 2010…Received the cross country Coaches Award for Dedication in 2009 and 2010…Was named boy’s indoor track’s Most Promising in 2009…Received the Coaches Award for Dedication in outdoor track in his senior year.

Personal: A native of Shelton, Conn…Son of Schuyler and Amy Wells…Has an older brother, Tim, who also attended Quinnipiac… Plans to major in legal studies and political science.
