BRONX, N.Y. – A total of six members of the Quinnipiac men's cross country team were named to the 2013 MAAC Men's Cross Country All-Academic Team on Nov. 1, 2013. Quinnipiac's was tied for fifth in the conference but on a percentage-based number, the Bobcats had the highest percentage of players on the team make the All-Academic Team among all eligible institutions.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. A consistent fixture among the University's most successful programs academically, the men's cross country team continues to show dedicated in the classroom.
Among the Bobcats' student-athletes honored were both members of the senior class in addition to two juniors and sophomores. The Bobcats' 'percentage of 85.7 players to make the All-Academic Team was first in the MAAC.
