As a Junior in 2013:
Named to All-MAAC Academic Team…Flashed signs of brilliance throughout the 2013 season, finishing as the second-fastest Bobcat in seven of the eight meets for Quinnipiac…He tallied one Top 5, two Top 10 and five Top 20 finishes throughout the season…Combined with Brendan Copley on Aug. 31 at the Stony Brook Invitational to become the first Quinnipiac teammates ever to finish as the top two runners in the same event…Mannion finished in a career-best 2nd place at Stony Brook with his time of 19:13.94…Posted his second consecutive Top 10 with an 8th place result at the Bryant Invitational on Sept. 7 as he crossed the line in 15:46.4…Crossed the line in 27:17.54 at the Iona Meet of Champions to place 86th on Sept. 21…Drastically improved his finishing place and times in the 2013 Paul Short Invitational from the previous year’s as he placed 18th (126th in 2012) with a time of 25:50 (27:15 in 2012)…Again showed great year-to-year improvement at the 2013 New England Championships as he finished in 42nd place (87th in 2012) with a time of 25:26 (25:51 in 2012)...Placed 17th with a time of 15:28.06 in his first career appearance at the CCSU Mini Meet on Oct. 25…Landed just three spots outside of All-Conference honors with his 18th place finish at the MAAC Championships on Nov. 1 with a time of 26:44.06…Broke a nine-meet streak (since Oct. 27, 2012) in which he finished no worse than second on the team at the NCAA Regionals, finishing as the third-fastest Bobcat with a 204th place result and time of 34:17.6.

As a Sophomore in 2012:
One of the most-dominate Quinnipiac runners throughout the second half of the 2012 season as he finished second-fastest on the team in three of the four final races of the season…Competed in seven of the team’s eight total races in 2012…Started the season with a 28:50 at the Nassaney Memorial Race…Followed up with an impressive 5th place showing (second-fastest on the team) at the Quinnipiac Invitational…Successfully navigated the Paul Short Invitational to a time of 27:15 and a 126th place result out of a season-high 283 runners…His late-season push started with the New England Championships as he crossed the line in 25:51.25 for 87th place overall (out of 261) and second-best on the team…Carried the momentum into the Princeton Invitational where he finished with a personal-best time of 25:42…Dominated at the NEC Championships as he crossed the line in 26:03.58 for a 15th place result out of 89 runners, good enough for third-fastest on the team…His finishing time at the NEC Championships was nearly two minutes faster than his 2011 result and just one spot away from the Top-14 and an All-Conference bid…Capped his impressive season with a 111th place finish (second-fastest on Quinnipiac) at the NCAA Regional with a time of 32:37.5.

As a Freshman in 2011:
Was named NEC Rookie of the Week three times during his standout first season with the Bobcats, tied with Monmouth’s Khari Brown for the most of any rookie in the NEC…Named Quinnipiac's Athlete of the Month for September...Competed in seven races and finished no worse than 2nd on the team in any race…Finished the NCAA Northeast Regionals on Nov. 12 in 35:45.9…Led the Bobcats on Oct. 29 in the Northeast Conference Championship with a time of 27:50.9…Placed 69th in the New England Championships on Oct. 8 with a season-best time of 26:08…Competed in the Paul Short Men’s Brown 8k on Sep. 30 and finished with 26:56…Placed 6th at the Monmouth Invitational on Sep. 17 with 26:53…Finished the Fordham University Invitational with 27:05.32 on Sep. 10…Placed 4th at the Stony Brook Invitational on Sep. 3 with 19:33.

Before Quinnipiac:
Attended Brookfield High School, where he ran varsity cross country, indoor and outdoor track, all four years…Was a Cross Country 44-9 Conference Runner up in 2007 and 2008…Led the indoor track team to a Conference Championship in 2010 and a State Championship in 2011…Helped lead Brookfield’s track team to a Conference Championship as a senior and a State Championship in his junior year…Was selected as the cross country, indoor and outdoor team’s captain in his junior and senior years…Was named All-Conference second team in 2008 and All-Conference in 2009 and 2010 for cross country…Was a Conference Champion as a senior…Received All-State Honors in 2009 and 2010…Was a State Runner up and All-State Open in 2010…During the 2010 indoor season, was selected All-State and All-Conference second team for the 1,000-meters and SMR…Was named a State Champion for the SMR in 2010…Selected to the All-Conference second team for the 1,600-meters in 2011...Was named All-Conference and a Conference Champion for the 800-meter run as a senior...Received All-State honors and named a State Champion for the 4x800-meter relay in his junior year…Holds the Brookfield record in the 1,000-meter (2.38), 1,600-meter (4:21), and SMR (3:45)…In total, has won 12 varsity letters and 11 All-Conference Academic awards…Received the Underclassmen Award and Impact Award from his coaches…Selected as his high school team’s Most Valuable Runner and named Best in Track, twice.
