The Quinnipiac women's golf team will travel to Piscataway, N.J. to compete in the Rutgers Invitational this Friday and Saturday, October 14-15, at the Rutgers University Golf Course.
Quinnipiac will compete against nineteen NCAA Division I teams at the Rutgers Invitational. In addition to Rutgers, other competing institutions include Boston College, Boston University, Central Connecticut, Delaware, Fairfield, Fairleigh Dickinson, Hartford, Hofstra, Long Island, Monmouth, Mount St. Mary's, Quinnipiac, Saint John's, Sacred Heart, Seton Hall, Siena, USC-Upstate and Wagner.
Quinnipiac last hit the links at the ECAC Championships. The Bobcats, who finished 12th, were led by Kayle Ketchesen (St. Andrews, Manitoba) who shot a program-record 80 over the final 18-holes of the tournament on her way to a 28th-place finish, the highest in Quinnipiac history.
